Zelensky discussed military support and drone production with Lithuanian Foreign Minister

During a meeting with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed ongoing support for Ukraine in the areas of defense and security, as well as plans for the joint production of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Details of the meeting were published on the President’s official Telegram channel, Ukrinform reports.

“I met with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys. Our conversation mainly touched on continued support for Ukraine's defense and security, joint production of drones, tightening EU sanctions against Russia, and expanding as many negotiating clusters as possible for Ukraine's accession to the EU this year,” the president noted.

During the meeting, Zelensky expressed gratitude to the Lithuanian government for its support in strengthening air defense, investing in the production of long-range weapons in Ukraine, and organizing training for the Ukrainian military.

“The Lithuanian pele have provided significant support to our state since the start of the full-scale invasion. We appreciate it very much,” Zelensky emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys arrived in Kyiv on an official visit on Tuesday, April 1.
