Ukraine’s Reznikov meets with U.S., Canadian defense ministers

Ukrainian Defense Minister eksii Reznikov has discussed further support for Ukraine with the defense ministers of the United States and Canada on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue security forum in Singapore.

Reznikov reported this on Twitter, according to Ukrinform.

"I was happy to meet with my U.S. cleague and great friend Lloyd Austin III on the sidelines of the IISS Shangri-La Dialogue. The Ukraine-US partnership is strong. We will continue working to ensure Ukraine's victory and to restore peace in Eure," he wrote

Reznikov also said he had met with his "Canadian cleague and friend Anita Anand."

"We discussed the situation on the front lines, our upcoming counter-offensive, and training of Ukrainian sdiers. Ms. Anand reiterated that Canada will continue to support Ukraine in achieving victory in this war, and that it will help with reconstruction. Canada is glad to join the tank coalition and inspired by our resve to defend ourselves. Each day of our joint work brings victory closer," the minister said.
