Trump: Many elements of Ukraine peace deal already agreed upon
Donald Trump announced this on his social network Truth Social, as reported by Ukrinform.
“I plan to discuss the situation in Ukraine with President Putin tomorrow morning. Many elements of the Final Agreement have been reached, but much remains to be done,” he wrote.
The head of the White House emphasized that thousands of soldiers on both sides continue to die in the conflict.
“This must stop immediately. I look forward to speaking with President Putin,” the US president said.
Earlier, Reuters reported that Trump repeated his previous claims, which were denied by the Ukrainian side, noting that Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region “are in a serious situation,” meaning they are surrounded.
In this regard, he noted that he asked Putin to save the lives of Ukrainians.

Moreover, Trump expressed the view that his suspension of military aid to Ukraine and pressure on President Zelensky appeared to have helped persuade Kyiv to agree with the US position.
“They kill a lot of Peles there, and we had to force Ukraine to do the right thing. But I think they are doing the right thing now,” the American leader said.
Earlier, when asked what compromises were being considered in cease-fire talks, Trump said: “We'll talk about territory. We'll talk about power plants… We're already talking about dividing up certain assets.”
As reported earlier, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski believes that during the upcoming talks with Putin, Donald Trump should dissuade him from some absurd demands, including “demilitarization” and the seizure of all of Ukraine.
