Russia not ready for ceasefire despite public statements – Zelensky
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this during an online press conference on Tuesday evening, as reported by an Ukrinform correspondent.
“Much of what has been publicly voiced by the Russian side indicates that they are not really ready for a ceasefire. They have once again confirmed that, as we have said, as we have warned our American partners, they do not intend to end this war. And this is obvious. They are not ready even for the first step towards a ceasefire, since they will discuss some additional conditions,” Zelensky noted.

At the same time, he added, Ukraine counts on the support of international partners, including the exchange of intelligence information.
