The SBU Security Service of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv has blocked the activities of a propagandist who spread appeals and ideas of the so-called “Russian world” via the Internet.
According to investigators, a resident of Ukraine’s capital has established contact with the pro-Russian civic movement, which is exploited by the Russian special services to wage an information war against Ukraine. On the instructions of his handlers, he had been posting on social networks calls for overthrowing the constitutional order, the SBU’s press center reported.

For the work done, the agitator received money to his bank accounts opened in Russian banks.
Law enforcers found enough evidence confirming the connection of the Internet propagandist with pro-Russian group, Russian banks, as well as a journalist ID issued by one of the Russian outlets.
The perpetrator was charged with actions aimed at forcibly changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or seizing state power.
