Russian war veterans militarize Ukrainian children in occupied territories

In the temporarily occupied part of the Luhansk region, 12 thousand pupils and students are undergoing military training under the guidance of Russian soldiers who participated in the conflict in Ukraine.

This was reported by Ukrinform, citing the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.

The administration emphasized that these schoolchildren became participants in an updated version of the military-patriotic game “Zarnitsa 2.0“, organized by Russian human rights organizations, including the public movement “Yunarma” and the military-sports center “Voin”.

According to the organisers, the soldiers who returned from the front should become an “inspiring example” for the region’s youth.

The largest number of students were involved in these events in Dovzhansk, Sorokino and Alchevsk.

According to the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Artem Lysogor, “in the Seversky direction, the occupiers tried to advance towards Belogorivka, where Ukrainian troops are taking up defensive positions and repelling attacks. Over the past 24 hours, the Russians have deployed 178 unmanned aerial vehicles in the specified zone. They also used artillery support 12 times.”

As previously reported, since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russian troops have killed 605 children in Ukraine.
