Russia distributes land plots to soldiers in occupied Luhansk region – watchdog

In the temporarily captured territories of the Luhansk region, the Russian occupation administration offers land plots to its military personnel.

The National Resistance Center reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“The occupiers continue to plunder Ukrainian lands – a new wave of “distribution” of captured lands to terrorists “special forces” and the families of the dead has begun in the temporarily occupied part of the Luhansk region,” the report notes.

It is indicated that for this purpose the so-called “LPR” adopted a new “law” on the seizure of land.

“They confiscate land plots under any pretext: 'incorrect paperwork', lack of Russian citizenship, or simply because the land is 'uncultivated'. Even these formal reasons are sometimes not required – some robbers only need to achieve this,” the control agency added.

As reported by Ukrinform, the occupiers took 18 thousand hectares of land from residents of the occupied part of the Luhansk region who did not receive Russian passports.
