Number of COVID-19 cases in Kyiv grows to 850, two patients die in past day

The new cases include 23 women aged 27 to 74 years, 25 men aged 20 to 75 years, and a 13-year-old teenager.

The number of the COVID-19 cases in Kyiv has grown to 850, as 49 new cases were confirmed in the past day.

“Another 49 residents of Kyiv tested positive for the coronavirus in the past 24 hours. Of them, there are two doctors. Unfortunately, two people died in the past day,” Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko’s press service said on Monday morning.

The new cases include 23 women aged 27 to 74 years, 25 men aged 20 to 75 years, and a 13-year-old teenager.

Twenty-one people were hospitalized, others are self-isolating, Klitschko said, adding that the total number of the confirmed cases had increased to 850.

As was reported, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine as of April 20 was 5,710, including 151 deaths. Some 359 patients have recovered so far.
