The number of confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases worldwide was 2,329,651 people as of 08:30 Kyiv time on April 19.

Most cases were recorded in the United States (735,086), according to the Coronavirus COVID-19 Global Cases dashboard by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.

The second and third places belong to Spain (194,416) and Italy (175,925).

The top five also include France (152,978) and Germany (143,724).

Then come the United Kingdom (115,314) and China (83,804).

The total deaths stood at 160,721.

Some 595,433 COVID-19 patients have already recovered.
