Mayor Klitschko: Number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Kyiv rises to 267 (Video)

The mayor said nine patients had been hospitalized, while 13 citizens were self-isolating.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city rose to 267 as of April 6.

“Another 22 Kyiv residents contracted the disease in the past day. As of today, the capital city has as many as 267 confirmed COVID-19 cases,” he said at a briefing on April 6, 2020, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

According to Klitschko, five women aged 29 to 71 and 16 men aged 24 to 82 are among those infected. Of them, there are two doctors.

An eight-year-old boy is also among the patients, and four of the cases have been recorded in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra monastery.

The mayor said nine patients had been hospitalized, while 13 citizens were self-isolating, undergoing treatment at home under the supervision of doctors.
