Weapons manufacturers provided preferential loans in the amount of UAH 463 million in the first quarter of 2025

“During 2025, seven loans were issued for a total of UAH 463 million. Currently, more than 10 loans have already been approved, and more than 70 applications are at various stages of processing,” the statement said.

Currently, loans for Ukrainian defense industry enterprises are provided by four banks: Ukreximbank, Oschadbank, MTB Bank and PUMB.

The preferential lending program ensures the availability of financial resources for Ukrainian defense industry enterprises engaged in the production of weapons and military equipment. The interest rate for manufacturers is 5%. The maximum loan amount reaches UAH 100 million for replenishment of working capital for a period of up to three years and up to UAH 500 million for investment projects for a period of up to five years.

We remind you that in early November 2024, the Ukrainian government approved a new program to support the defense industry, which allows critical enterprises to receive a loan of up to UAH 500 million for up to five years at 5% per annum.
