Ukroboronprom, Pish Armaments Group sign memorandum of coeration

Ukrainian Defense Industry JSC (Ukroboronprom) and Pish Armaments Group (PGZ) have signed a memorandum of coeration in the field of ammunition production and equipment maintenance.

Ukrainian Minister for Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin announced this in Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“Yesterday [February 3], Ukroboronprom and Pish Armaments Group (PGZ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on coeration… It outlines the agreements between the defense industries of Ukraine and Pand on coeration,” the report says.

According to Smetanin, this includes the production of ammunition, maintenance of armored vehicles and artillery, and the strengthening of air defenses.

In addition, the parties plan to devel financial mechanisms to attract the tos and funds provided by the Eurean Defence Industrial Strategy (EDIS) and the Eurean Defense Industrial Programme (EDIP).

The Minister emphasized the importance of Pand's support.

“This support is of immense value in the context of the Ukrainian defense industry's current develment. At present, there is a significant demand for explosives and critical components. To this end, it is essential to deepen coeration not just at the level of defense companies, but also at the level of industries,” Smetanin added.

As reported, the Pish company Seco/Warwick, a producer of industrial furnaces, has lost a defense contract in Ukraine flowing an investigation that revealed its coeration, along with several other Western firms, with the Russian defense industry.
