Ukrnafta Opens 22 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in Ukraine

PJSC Ukrnafta is developing infrastructure for electric vehicles: charging stations are now available at 22 filling stations in its network.

“These are modern, high-power charging stations that can quickly charge several electric vehicles at the same time. Each station is equipped with four ports and supports various types of charging connectors,” the company said in a press release.

The company clarified that Ukrainian service providers are responsible for the operation of charging stations.

The cost of charging is 18 UAH per kWh.

Users can find out the location of stations and billing details through the UKRNAFTA mobile application.

Ukrnafta is Ukraine's leading oil company and operator of a national network of petrol stations. In March 2024, the company began managing Glusco's assets and now controls 544 petrol stations – 461 of which are owned and 83 are managed.

The largest shareholder of Ukrnafta is NAK Naftogaz of Ukraine, which owns 50% plus one share.

In November 2022, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to transfer the company's corporate rights, which were previously owned by private shareholders, to the state. These shares are now under the control of the Ministry of Defense.
