Metinvest-Pokrovskvuhillia temporarily reduces production due to military actions

Metinvest-Pokrovskvuhillia temporarily reduced the production volumes of coking coal due to military actions near the enterprise, without specifying absolute and relative indicators.

According to the information of the enterprise, miners have learned to quickly restructure the production process in war conditions, and they continue to provide Ukraine with coal at the maximum of their current capabilities.

It is also specified that section No. 2 of Pokrovske Mine Administration, which is part of Metinvest Group within Metinvest-Pokrovskvuhillia, is developing the 11th northern face of block 10. This cleaning face is located on a thin seam, but the team has good indicators and the prospect of increasing them.

In addition, the team of section No. 3 is developing the first southern face of block 9 – the work front here is until the end of the month.

In addition, mining teams are currently involved in other work, in particular, maintaining mine workings, servicing auxiliary areas, stationary installations and others.

"As soon as possible, the team will resume the production process in a short time in order to achieve pre-war indicators," the company emphasizes in the information.
