Denmark allocates 98 million euros for energy equipment for Ukraine
This was stated by the Danish Ambassador to Ukraine Egberg Mikkelsen at the forum “Energy Efficiency: The Path to Energy Security and Recovery,” reports a Ukrinform correspondent.
He noted that the Ukrainian-Danish energy partnership is the main civil project of Denmark, which supports the sustainability of the energy sector of Ukraine. The allocated funds will be used to purchase SAR equipment and gas piston units.

Mikkelsen added that energy efficiency is an important element of cooperation between Denmark and Ukraine, covering both short-term and long-term strategies to increase energy security. He also mentioned that the two countries cooperate in areas such as thermal insulation, heating and coagulation systems, as well as technologies aimed at saving energy.
In early 2024, Ukraine and Denmark developed a list of critical technologies for the energy sector. The catalog includes 20 technological solutions that can be implemented in Ukraine to support distributed generation. These solutions fall into categories such as gas turbines, SAR panels with storage systems, wind turbines, grid energy storage, biogas production, and biomass cogeneration plants.
