Already 10 mln Ukrainians apply to Diia to receive payments under Winter eSupport program

In the Diia application, 10 million Ukrainians have already applied to receive payments under the Winter eSupport program. Among them, almost 2.5 million are for payments for children, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko said on Thursday.

"The program has already become the largest among all social initiatives implemented through the Diia application. In a month and a half, we have 10 million applications, of which almost 2.5 million are for children. Winter eSupport has surpassed all previous support programs from the government," Svyrydenko said.

She also said the key areas where people direct the assistance they receive remain heating bills and other utilities.

The Economy Minister said among the 10 million applications to Diia over a month and a half, 14% are applications from temporarily displaced persons, 18.5% are from people aged over 60, women left 68% of applications, 32% are men. The average age of applicants is 40 years.
