Zelenskyy said that in 2026, Ukraine will open 10 arms export centers in Europe

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that starting February 8, Ukraine will open domestically produced weapons export centers in European countries, of which there will be ten by the end of 2026.

He said this during a conversation with teachers and students of the Kyiv National Aviation Institute on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the birth of aircraft designer Oleg Antonov.

According to Zelensky, in 2026, ten export centers will be opened in European countries.

“These are both the Baltic countries and the countries of Northern Europe. In 2026, ten representative offices will operate. In mid-February, we will see the production of our drones in Germany. I will receive the first drone. This is a working line. There are production lines in Britain. These are all our Ukrainian technologies,” he said.

The head of state emphasized that currently Europe's security is “built on technology and drones” and Ukraine and its partners “have several different projects” in this regard.

“All this will be based mostly on Ukrainian technologies and Ukrainian specialists. We are simply at war, and not all companies yet feel such a space of freedom that they can enter all other markets,” Zelensky said.

He also said that currently there are about 450 companies producing drones in Ukraine. Of these, about 50, according to the president, are market leaders that need investment. So 2026 will be a year of investment in Ukrainian technologies, primarily in UAVs.

Back in September 2025, Zelensky announced the preparation of an “important decision” on the controlled export of Ukrainian weapons, and already in December last year he announced the opening of the first export office in Berlin.
