
On the night of May 7, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a small missile ship of Project 22800 “Karakurt”. It was attacked in the city of Kaspiysk, in the Russian Republic of Dagestan.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
They noted that the ship was hit near the Kaspiysk base. The extent of the damage is currently being determined. This ship of the Russian Navy, in particular, has the ability to launch Kalibr cruise missiles.
Also on May 7, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez oil refinery in the Perm Krai of the Russian Federation. The strikes caused explosions and subsequent fires on the territory of the enterprise.
On May 3, the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the port of Primorsk, Leningrad Oblast, Russia, struck a missile ship of the Karakurt project, as well as a patrol boat and a tanker of the shadow oil fleet.
