Last year, Ukraine offered the United States its own technology to combat Iranian drones, but Washington did not agree to sign the agreement. However, Kyiv is still ready to cooperate.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this while answering journalists' questions, Suspilne reports.
The President noted that last year, Ukraine offered the United States technologies and drones to counter Iranian drones.
“We really offered the United States. And for us it is a priority, it is a strategic partner. We offered the drone deal “A major agreement related to the production and sale of drones , where all our relevant drones and technologies are presented,” Zelenskyy noted.
According to him, the agreement has not yet been signed, and the US refusal at that time was only a postponement.
“We are open. I would really like to sign this agreement with the President of the United States. And it was also very cool for our companies,” the head of state added.
