
On the night of May 20, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Lukoil-Nizhegorodorgsintez refinery in the territory of the Russian Federation.

According to the military, on May 19 and on the night of May 20, 2026, units of the Defense Forces struck a number of important objects on the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as on the territory of Ukraine. “In particular, the AVT-6 primary oil processing unit was hit, followed by a fire at the Lukoil-Nizhegorodorgsintez refinery in the area of the Kstovo settlement in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation,” the report says.
According to the results of the damage to the Yaroslavl-3 oil pumping station in Semibratovo in the Yaroslavl region of the Russian Federation, damage to four tanks with a total volume of 140,000 cubic meters has been previously confirmed.
The station is an important element of the Russian oil transportation system and is involved in ensuring Russia's military-industrial infrastructure.
A number of Russian military facilities in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia regions, as well as in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, were also hit.
On May 18, the Defense Forces struck the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in the city of Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region. As a result of the strike, a fire was recorded on the territory of the enterprise.
On May 19, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Yaroslavl-3 oil pumping station in the Yaroslavl region of the Russian Federation.
