Ukrainian parabiathlete Oleksandra Kononova said in an exclusive comment for Suspilne Sport that she received remarks from representatives of the International Paralympic Committee because of the earrings with the inscription “Stop War” she wore to the race.
Kononova won her second individual medal at the 2026 Paralympic Games. First, the Ukrainian won the parabiathlon sprint in the standing class, and later won bronze in the individual race.
