President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced preparations for a new round of negotiations and spoke about the instructions given to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov.
This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“We continue to work every day specifically so that the next round of negotiations can bring results for Ukraine, bring results for peace,” the president emphasized.
According to him, the Ukrainian side will do everything necessary to achieve a result and will not become an obstacle to peace. He recalled that during the previous meeting in Geneva, the American side saw that it was Russia that was the reason for the lack of truly significant results.
Zelensky noted that he discussed with Umerov certain aspects of preparing for the negotiations, and also instructed to intensify work with partners in the Middle East and Turkey so that these countries are involved in the process and can provide greater support.
In addition, Zelenskyy is scheduled to meet with European partners next week. According to him, Ukraine will coordinate actions with Europe to ensure its participation in all processes and strengthen the common position.
