Volodymyr Zelenskyy recorded his traditional evening address to Ukrainians. This time it is dedicated to the fact that Ukraine has experienced the most difficult winter during the war.

The president said this in an evening address on March 1.

What did Zelensky say in his evening address?

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed Ukrainians on March 1, after the end of the most difficult winter during the war with Russia.

The Russians wanted to turn this winter into the destruction of Ukraine and Ukrainians. But Ukraine did not break. We preserved our energy system. Ukraine has repelled a large number of massive strikes this winter, when in one strike – dozens of missiles, hundreds of “Shaheeds”,
– the president noted.

He recalled that the Russians began the winter with a massive shelling on December 6. Then they launched more than 700 strike weapons, of which more than 50 were missiles. In total, the enemy launched more than 700 missiles of various types during the winter.

The President thanked every Ukrainian soldier who protects us, as well as the developers and manufacturers of interceptor drones.

Zelensky expressed gratitude to municipal services and especially noted Ukrainian entrepreneurs who kept their jobs.

Zelensky also stated that Russia is preparing new strikes – on logistics.

The head of state also mentioned the conflict in the Middle East, where even wealthy countries with the best air defense systems cannot fully resist Iranian drones and ballistic missiles.
