No significant improvement in weather conditions is expected next week. Forecasters are warning of brief rain and thunderstorms.
This was stated by Ivan Semilyt, deputy head of the media communications department of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.
Will the precipitation stop in Ukraine?
A representative of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center reported that from May 19 to 20, dry weather without significant precipitation will prevail across the country. However, short-term rains with thunderstorms are possible in some places during the daytime.
The air temperature at night will range from 9 to 16 degrees Celsius, but during the day the values will range from 21 to 27 degrees Celsius. The corresponding figures are several degrees higher compared to the current week.
But, according to the published information, it will be somewhat cooler on May 19 in the western regions. There, the thermometers will show from 17 to 22 degrees Celsius, lower values are not predicted, at least for now.
Will there be noticeable warming?
At the same time, forecasters are not yet predicting a long period of stable and dry weather. According to preliminary calculations, unstable weather with periods of short-term rains will persist in most regions from May 21 to 25.

According to him, periodic precipitation will mostly fall during the day. In turn, temperature indicators will also not change significantly, approximately the same thermometer readings are expected across Ukraine.
At night, the air temperature will range from 10 to 16 degrees Celsius, and during the day the values will increase and will be from 20 to 27 degrees Celsius. It is also known that similar indicators are expected at the beginning of the new week.
What did experts predict earlier?
At the beginning of next week, weather conditions in Ukraine will be affected by a cyclone that will form in the Caspian Sea area, bringing warm and humid air, which will lead to periodic rains.
By the end of this weekend, Ukraine will experience moderately warm weather with rain and thunderstorms, especially in the western and eastern regions. In some regions, temperatures, especially daytime temperatures, will rise to 25 degrees Celsius.
By the way, experts predict thunderstorms and strong gusts of wind in at least several regions of Ukraine over the next few days. Due to such bad weather, some regions have declared level 1 of danger, yellow.
