Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the location and date of a new round of peace talks between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia. This time, the meeting will be held in the United Arab Emirates.

What did Zelensky say about the new round of negotiations?
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that he had already spoken several times a day with Rustem Umerov, David Arakhamia, and representatives of the US President, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, following the results of their meetings today.
There is already more readiness for the next trilateral format. Most likely, the next meeting will be in the Emirates, it will be in Abu Dhabi. We expect the format to be in early March. We need to finalize everything that has been achieved for real security guarantees, and prepare a meeting at the level of leaders,
– the president noted.
It is this format, according to the head of state, that can solve a lot.
“Ultimately, leaders resolve key issues, and when it comes to Russia, to such a personalist regime, this is much more than in other countries. The war must be ended – this is our position, this is the position of Ukraine, this is the position of all our partners,” Zelensky explained.
At the same time, the president noted that everyone now sees that Russia is not ready for peace, and there is no sign yet that Putin is stopping his war machine.
On the contrary, it is preparing to continue fighting, and the world must be ready to put pressure on Russia to change this. The recipe is clear to everyone in the world. Russia will stop the war even on its own, of its own accord, when the world finally stops Russian oil, other Russian energy resources, and Russian banks. This is absolutely realistic,
– the president explained.
According to Zelensky, world sanctions should work for real lasting peace.
“Of course, with both America and Europe we are discussing each of the formats of pressure, formats of diplomacy that can really work. It is very important that partners continue to remain sufficiently resolute. Today I gave the team the following directives – what we need to achieve,” the Ukrainian leader summed up.
Preparations for the next round of negotiations were also confirmed by the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov. He noted that work is underway to finalize security parameters, economic decisions, and agreed positions, which should become the basis for further agreements.
The task is to make the next trilateral meeting with the participation of the US and Russia as substantive as possible,
