According to the village council, the defender was seriously injured on December 24, 2025 while performing a combat mission near the village of Sergiyevka, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region, as a result of which he died about a month later.
Oleksandr died on January 28, 2026 in a medical facility. It is explained that his death was related to the performance of military service duties. The soldier was said to have passed away on Wednesday, February 4, in his native village of Gostroluchchya.
