Locals were awakened by explosions around 6 a.m. local time.
Earlier, an alert was declared for the entire territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and flight restrictions were introduced at Ufa airport.

Authorities confirmed the attack and claimed that several UAVs were “shot down” on approach to the Ufa refinery, noting that the wreckage of one fell in an industrial zone.
The fire is being extinguished there, and there are reportedly no injuries.
“Another drone hit a residential building on Gafuri Street. All services are on site, open fire has been extinguished. No one was killed or injured,” the authorities said about another case of “successful” work by the Russian “peveo.”

As reported by CyberBoroshna, the Bashneft-Novoil refinery in the city of Ufa was hit. This is 1,300 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
It is believed that the strike was carried out in the area of the AVT-5 installation. There is currently a very active fire there and black smoke is hanging.
For reference: The AVT unit is a primary oil refining unit that is key in the production process. Without it, further processing is impossible.
This is not the first time the production facility has been attacked. The last attack was on October 11, 2025.
