During 2019-2023, FUIB focused on ensuring the physical accessibility of its locations, and in 2024 it began a large-scale transformation into a fully inclusive financial institution.

This process covers corporate culture, service model, architectural solutions and digital platforms, informs 24 Kanal. In 2025, the amount of funding for the inclusion direction doubled compared to previous periods, which allowed the purchase of innovative equipment for high-quality service to clients with various forms of violations.

Systematic work on barrier-free access began at the bank back in 2019. The initial stage was the modernization of entrance groups, and since 2024 the focus has shifted to the development of inclusive values among staff and the integration of specialized technologies into all channels of interaction with customers.

FUIB's total investments in creating a barrier-free environment exceeded UAH 100 million. In particular, in the period 2019-2023, more than UAH 62 million was allocated for the installation of lifts, ramps, ramps and reconstruction of entrances to the branch network. In 2024, the bank invested another UAH 13 million in further adaptation of spaces, conducting an inclusive audit of websites and applications, as well as in developing an internal culture of equality.

By 2025, almost all bank branches will be accessible to people with limited mobility (with the exception of two facilities where redesigning the entrance is impossible for technical reasons). UAH 24.5 million was allocated for the renovation of premises and the introduction of new technologies.

By the end of the year, 205 operating branches of FUIB across the country were equipped with modern entrance groups: from zero entrances and elevators to tactile navigation and Braille signs. In addition, a remote sign language interpretation service for people with hearing impairments was introduced at all standard points of sale.

The interior of 97 branches was completely renovated: lowered cash registers, crutch holders, waiting areas for people in wheelchairs, and adapted restrooms were installed. For the convenience of people with visual impairments, 158 ATMs (88 in branches and 70 outside) were equipped with voice assistants.

Inclusivity in business is a key objective of the bank's sustainable development strategy. The FUIB team is happy to work to be a convenient, accessible and safe bank, where every person feels valued and heard, has equal opportunities,
– emphasized Serhiy Chernenko, Chairman of the Board of FUIB.

In general, by the end of 2025, FUIB:

  • ensured physical and information accessibility in 50% of branches in each region of Ukraine – the internal space was fully adapted in 97 locations;
  • carried out adaptation work (mobile application and websites) in accordance with inclusion standards.

The bank also pays significant attention to team training: employees regularly undergo training and courses that help them better understand the needs of customers with disabilities and provide them with quality service.
