According to local residents, in total, from 10 to several dozen explosions were heard along the coast. Eyewitnesses reported bright flashes in the sky and the characteristic sounds of drones.

Russian sources claim that air defenses tried to repel the attack. Air raid warnings were issued in several cities, including Sochi, and gunfire was heard. In addition, the airports of Sochi and Krasnodar temporarily imposed restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft due to the threat in the sky.
What are the consequences of the strikes on Russia?
The most serious consequences were recorded in Tuapse. According to preliminary data, two children aged 5 and 14 died as a result of falling debris from a drone. There are also reports of at least two injured adults who are receiving medical assistance.
At least five private homes and one apartment building were damaged in the city. An oil depot was also hit.

In the seaport area, debris was recorded falling on the territory of enterprises. At the same time, in the village of Loo near Sochi, debris damaged a private house – windows were broken and a canopy was damaged, but there were no injuries.
Official information about the extent of the damage and the exact number of victims is being clarified. The Russian authorities traditionally do not reveal the full picture of the consequences of such attacks.
