On Sunday, April 19, a suburb of Zaporizhzhia came under Russian fire. People were injured in the attack, and unfortunately, there was also a victim of the strike.

What is known about the shelling of Zaporizhia?
First of all, we should note that the Air Force warned about the threat of UAVs to the city. Local media and monitors wrote about the movement of UAVs towards Zaporizhia, as well as explosions in the city at around 11:30.
Rescuers reported that at one of the addresses, a residential building was destroyed by the impact and a fire broke out. The body of a 55-year-old woman was recovered from under the rubble at the impact site.
Firefighters extinguished the fire. In other locations, partial destruction of residential buildings was recorded, and neighboring buildings were also damaged.
A total of three people were injured. They are being provided with the necessary assistance. Head of the CALL Ivan Fedorov added that one of the injured is a 52-year-old woman.

As a reminder, on the night of April 18, Russian troops carried out a drone attack on Zaporizhia. As a result of the strikes in the Shevchenkivskyi and Oleksandrivskyi districts, a high-rise building and nine private houses were damaged.
Pay attention! The director of development of the defense enterprise, a reserve Air Force officer Anatoly Khrapchinsky, in a comment to Channel 24 noted that Russia not only continues massive strikes on Ukraine, but may also increase their intensity. Even with the effective work of air defense, it is impossible to avoid all hits.
