The ministry reported that Russia again attacked Ukrainian infrastructure near the river border with Romania.

The Romanian Defense Ministry added that radars recorded a brief violation of airspace by a drone in the Kiliya area, heading towards Izmail. At the same time, numerous explosions were heard on the Ukrainian bank of the Danube.

“The Ministry of Defense informs allied structures in real time about the situations arising from the attacks, being in constant contact with them,” the report says.

Consequences of the strikes on Ukraine

Explosions were heard in several regions of Ukraine at night and in the morning of May 2. Thus, Kharkiv was under numerous blows. In one of the districts, damage to residential buildings was recorded after a UAV hit. It is also known about the victim.

Russian drones also attacked the port infrastructure of the Odessa region. As a result, a warehouse and outbuildings were damaged. Local fires have been extinguished.
