Kyivstar continues to systematically invest in network resilience and modernization. In 2025, the company allocated a third of its revenue to this. At the same time, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the total amount of investments in reconstruction, technical upgrade of the network and expansion of digital capabilities has reached 40.1 billion hryvnias.

Kyivstar currently has the largest 4G network* in Ukraine and provides millions of subscribers with critical connectivity, the company notes. In 2025, the national electronic communications operator installed over 6,000 base stations and expanded LTE to 630 more settlements.

Currently, high-speed 4G is available to 96.2% of the population in the territory controlled by Ukraine.

How is Kyivstar working on the development and restoration of the telecom network in Ukraine?

The company pays significant attention to expanding its network along key transport arteries. During 2025, it deployed new base stations on more than 300 sections of international and national roads. In particular, coverage was strengthened on the Kyiv-Kharkiv, Kyiv-Odesa and Kyiv-Lviv routes.

A comprehensive upgrade of the network infrastructure is also underway. Kyivstar is systematically upgrading equipment and implementing modern technological solutions aimed at increasing the capacity of the 4G network and improving the stability of services. In just one year, the company has completed more than 10,000 technical works to upgrade base stations.

The full-scale war continues to be a serious test for Ukraine's electronic communications infrastructure, as networks are under attack from the enemy. Despite this, Kyivstar is promptly restoring communications as soon as the security situation allows for work.

In 2025 alone, the company managed to restore the operation of more than 10 network facilities damaged due to hostilities, and as of February 24, 2022, the total number of restored facilities is about 700.

Systematic investments in network development allow Kyivstar to provide millions of subscribers with stable mobile communications and high-speed Internet. The company makes a significant contribution to the development of Ukraine's digital infrastructure, despite today's realities.
