Coarse salt, baking soda, or coffee grounds instantly remove the smell of spoiled food. Pour 200 grams of any of these products into the drain and pour two liters of boiling water over it, the smell will disappear immediately.

Coffee grounds can also be used as a preventative measure. To do this, simply pour a tablespoon of coffee grounds into the drain of your sink, bathtub, or shower once a month and pour a small amount of boiling water over it.
