OnePlus 15T debuts in China, but may not reach the global market / OnePlus

OnePlus has officially unveiled the OnePlus 15T smartphone with a powerful battery and top-notch specifications. However, new doubts have arisen about whether the model will reach beyond the Chinese market.

OnePlus has introduced a new smartphone, the OnePlus 15T , which combines the characteristics of a flagship and a mid-range smartphone. The model has a 6.32-inch display, but at the same time it is distinguished by a very capacious 7500 mAh battery. This is reported by TechRadar .

What's interesting about the OnePlus 15T and what's wrong with its launch?

The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and is available in configurations with 12 or 16 GB of RAM. The amount of built-in storage varies from 256 GB to 1 TB.

The main camera is represented by a dual module 50 MP + 50 MP , while the front one has a resolution of 16 MP. For gamers, additional features are provided – a cooling system with an evaporation chamber and a display with a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz.

The price of the new product starts at 4299 yuan, which is approximately equivalent to $625. However, the device is currently only available in China, and the prospects for a global launch remain uncertain.

The release has sparked renewed speculation about OnePlus' potential international expansion, with speculation that the company could close down operations in the US and Europe and focus on its domestic market.

According to Android Authority , additional questions were raised by the resignation of Robin Liu, the head of OnePlus's India division. He previously assured that the company would continue to operate as usual, despite initial reports of possible strategy changes.

Despite this, the company's official position remains unchanged . OnePlus representatives claim that business in Europe is operating stably, and users are guaranteed software updates and service support.

If OnePlus does indeed reduce its presence in the global market, it would be a notable loss for the smartphone segment, where the company has traditionally offered strong models at a competitive price.
