Sometimes one click is enough to understand that you have a completely different gaming device. The Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike creates exactly that impression: faster response, unusual button sensations and lightness that is noticeable even before the first match.

Picking up a new gaming mouse and feeling the difference before even starting a game is a rare story. Usually, a new device takes time: you need to get used to the shape, weight, and glide. But in the case of the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike, everything happens faster. The first clicks – even in the Steam menu – seem sharper, clearer, as if the signal takes a shorter path. The editorial staff of Channel 24 tested the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike and we have something to tell you.

Why is the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike even worth considering?

This is far from just another “gaming mouse” for the general public. The thing is that Logitech G decided to rethink something that has remained unchanged in gaming mice for decades – the click mechanism . Instead of classic microswitches, an innovative system is used here, based on an analog sensor, and this system is able to “feel” the depth of pressing. The haptic motor adds vibration, which creates a familiar click sensation, although there is no longer a physical switch under the button.

This system is called HITS (Haptic Inductive Trigger System) and it is the revolutionary feature of the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike. The technology allows you to significantly reduce the button travel. While most gaming mice trigger after approximately 0.6 mm of pressing, in the Superstrike this figure can be reduced to 0.1 mm.

In fact, this means a noticeable reduction in input lag – Logitech's marketing materials talk about a gain of up to 30 ms, which is significantly greater than the difference between the standard 1000 Hz polling rate and the modern 8000 Hz.

How is new technology changing the gaming experience?

In real-world gameplay, this translates into a sense of closer connection to the game. In shooters, clicks seem to become part of the reaction – not a separate action after it. It's not magic or a cheat, but sometimes those few milliseconds can change the outcome of a fight.

At first it feels very unusual – practically the slightest movement of the finger triggers a click and there are a lot of false positives, but you quickly get used to such sensitivity. In addition, the classic shape and incredible lightness allow you to move the mouse with the slightest movement of the hand, and the initial awkwardness after a few test runs turns into unheard-of lightness and unprecedented control.

This gives an advantage in fast-paced shooters. For example, in Counter-Strike 2, a shot can be registered by the server a few ticks earlier than your opponent's, increasing your chances of winning the duel.

Rapid Trigger brought to the mouse

The Rapid Trigger feature is familiar to users of mechanical keyboards and allows you to capture a click not by passing a certain point, but by changing the direction of the button movement. In traditional mice, this technique works only in the activation zone, while in Superstrike it works along the entire length of the stroke, which makes rapid repeated clicks more stable. This is useful, for example, in MOBA games like League of Legends.

The implementation of the new system required design changes. Engineers made the body and base thinner, used titanium screws and a ventilated board. Thanks to this, the final version weighed 61 grams – just a gram more than the Superlight 2 and 7 grams less than the early prototype.

The mouse is almost the same shape as its predecessor. It is a symmetrical, medium-sized body with smooth lines – a so-called “safe” design that suits most users regardless of grip or hand size. The side buttons remain traditional and look somewhat unusual next to the almost silent main keys. Externally, the model has received a slight update: black buttons contrast with the white body.

Interesting fact! Logitech developed the G Pro X2 Superstrike in collaboration with professional teams G2 Esports, NAVI and BLG. The novelty can already be seen in tournaments with Counter-Strike 2, Valorant and League of Legends. The model was presented during the Logitech G Play 2025 event.

In the game, the novelty makes a strong impression even during basic actions – the feeling of fast and clear response is noticeable even before the match starts. In shooters like Counter-Strike 2 or Battlefield 6, clicks seem more accurate and “sharper”. This is especially noticeable with weapons that require one accurate shot, such as AWP. At the same time, success in the game still depends on the experience, knowledge of the maps and the reaction of the player himself.

Interestingly, even with the maximum response speed settings and rapid trigger activated, the mouse does not cause any problems in everyday use. During normal browser use or in slower strategies, accidental clicks do not occur after a short adaptation period.

By the way, the adapter for connecting to a computer is conveniently hidden in the mouse body.

How often do I need to charge the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike?

It's hard to say at what point the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike actually “sits down.” During the entire testing period, the manipulator never once needed to be charged after we took it out of the box (and the charge was already not full).

Logitech G promises up to 90 hours of continuous use versus 95 hours for the Superlight 2. In practice, during tests at a frequency of 1000 Hz and medium tactile feedback strength, the charge dropped from 75% to 51% for almost the entire testing time and almost daily use for a week.

How is all this set up?

Logitech users know that their devices come with special software. In the case of gaming peripherals, it's the G Hub app.

Here, in addition to the standard parameters – sensitivity, button assignments and sensor polling update frequency – you can also configure the HITS system options: trigger distance, rapid trigger sensitivity and haptic feedback vibration strength.

The program also features a live pressure indicator that shows how deeply the user is pressing the button.

An important advantage is that all Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike settings can be saved directly to the mouse's memory and used on any other computer without the need to install G Hub.

Interestingly, completely disabling haptic feedback drastically changes the perception – the mouse feels almost “dead” even though it actually works just as accurately. This highlights the role of the artificial haptic signal in the overall experience.

Connectivity remains unchanged: wired USB and 2.4 GHz Lightspeed wireless mode are available. There is no Bluetooth in the model – the company abandoned it in order to reduce weight and focus on esports needs.

So what are the conclusions?

Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike is a rare case when a new gaming device changes not only the performance, but also the real feeling of the game (admit it, this does not happen often). But don't get me wrong – this mouse will not turn you into an e-sportsman in one evening. Yes, it gives a nice feeling of control and speed, which is difficult to ignore after a few matches, but you still need experience.

In fact, the Pro X2 Superstrike is an evolution of the familiar Superlight formula – a light, comfortable, autonomous mouse, but with a fundamentally new approach to clicking. That is why the Superstrike looks not just like another update to the line, but as a hint of what gaming mice can become in the coming years, especially for those who play for results.

By the way, the mouse is already available for purchase in the Lunar Eclipse design (as in the photo above). In Ukraine, the recommended price of the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike is 7999 hryvnias .
