Apple has introduced the most affordable iPhone 17e with a starting price of $599 in the US. We tell you what the real price of the new product in Ukraine may be, what key features it offers, and how it looks compared to the basic iPhone 17.
Apple's new iPhone 17e smartphone debuted with a starting price of $599 for the version with 256 GB of storage and $799 for 512 GB in the US, reports Channel 24 .
This is a typical strategic move by Apple to expand its presence in the “more affordable” smartphone segment. In fact, the model remains at the level of the previous iPhone “e”, but receives modern hardware capabilities.
How much can the iPhone 17e cost in Ukraine?
Approximately in Ukraine, the basic version of the iPhone 17e can cost 30,000-40,000 hryvnias , if you convert the dollar value to take into account local taxes, duties, and exchange rate fluctuations (similar Apple models are traditionally sold more expensive than the nominal price in the USA).
This is approximately 10-15% cheaper compared to the prices of the standard iPhone 17 when it was launched in Ukraine.
What specifications did the iPhone 17e get?
The iPhone 17e has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a brightness of up to 1200 nits and Ceramic Shield 2 protection. The case is made of aluminum and is protected against water and dust according to the IP68 standard.
The smartphone runs on a 3nm A19 chip and supports 5G. In terms of performance, it is a full-fledged modern iPhone that can handle games, photo editing, and multitasking without any problems.
The 48MP main camera supports 2x zoom without a separate telephoto lens and 4K video recording. There is MagSafe, wireless charging up to 15W and fast charging via USB-C. Satellite safety features and accident detection are also available.
