How to easily clean wallpaper at home using a two-component product
Many housewives have never washed the walls in their home, because it would seem that garbage does not accumulate on them. Therefore, it is recommended to wash them from time to time, but a reasonable question immediately arises: what to wash?
Experts have told about an effective way that will help to wash all the wallpaper in the house. According to them, after such cleaning not only the walls look better, but also the air in the apartment becomes fresher. They suggested using only two components for self-preparation of the product – water and fabric conditioner. By the way, this solution can also be used to wash simple painted walls, experts say, informs Ukr.Media.
The product helps not only to get rid of dust, but also to fix stale wallpaper in rooms that are most prone to various types of dirt – in the hallway and in the kitchen. Wallpaper is also most dirty in the area of sockets and switches. The product can be used pointwise and on baseboards. Another big bonus of the solution is that it forms a protective layer on the wall, similar to an invisible film, which makes the wallpaper collect less dust and dirt.
To prepare the product, you need to adhere to the proportion of one to three, that is, one part conditioner and three parts water. Conditioner can make the cloth very stiff, so for this purpose you should get a special napkin made of bamboo fibers, non-woven napkins or use a soft piece of flannel. The latter, by the way, will come in handy for wiping everything dry later.
The product should be applied to the wall, wait a few minutes, and then thoroughly wash the wallpaper with plain warm water. Then, be sure to wipe the surfaces dry. Experts also urged changing the water more often if it becomes dirty to better get rid of dirt.
If you need to wash all the wallpaper in the house, then it will take quite a long time just by hand. You can arm yourself with a mop, throw a rag with the product on it and wipe the walls like a floor.
