European Investment Bank loans €50 million to Ukraine’s innovation park UNIT.City


The managing partner of Ukraine’s first innovation park Unit.City Constantine Yevtushenko prepares to sign a €50 million loan investment deal with the European investment bank on July 1, 2020. The loan will contribute to the Unit.City’s €110 million construction project that will make Ukrainian park one of the biggest ecosystems for tech companies and startups in Central and Eastern Europe.

Ukraine has over 185,000 tech -specialists that are recognized globally and yet the country lacks a proper ecosystem to support innovations.

To strengthen Ukrainian tech companies and startups, the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a €50 million loan to finance the construction project in Ukraine’s first innovation park UNIT.City, the EIB reported on July 1.
