A simple way to check the quality of well water using dishwashing detergent

Anyone who has ever used water taken from a well knows firsthand that sometimes it is not crystal clear, Ukr.Media reports.

If you are concerned about the quality of the water you consume, the best option would be a laboratory test.

But even in field conditions, you can assess the quality of the fluid from the well.

To do this, you will need a regular dishwashing detergent.

So, to begin with, fill any suitable container with water from a well or well, and then add a small amount of the conventional “Fairy” to it.

Now take a clean spoon and use it to stir the contents of the container.

If you notice that there is very little or no foam, this is an indication that the water is too hard. This happens if the water contains excess salts and alkaline earth metals.

In the same case, if everything is fine with the foam, there is no need to worry, in terms of hardness, everything is fine with the water.
