
Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremska has completed her participation in the WTA 1000 tournament in Rome. In the first round match, the Ukrainian lost to “neutral” Anastasia Zakharova.

How did the match between Yastremska and Zakharova go?
- At the start of the first set, the tennis players exchanged realized break points. Overall, the set was tied at 4:4. After that, Yastremska won the game on her serve, and later, realizing a break point, completed the set with a 6:4 victory.
- At the start of the second set, Yastremska led 3:0. However, Zakharova managed to restore parity in the score, and at the end of the set, it was the “neutral” tennis player who snatched the victory with a score of 7:5.
- In the decisive, third set, the tennis players could not find a stronger one, and the match went to a tiebreak with a score of 6:6. In the tiebreak, Yastremska led 6:1 and was close to winning, but Zakharova managed to equalize the score in the match.
- In the end, it was Zakharova who managed to complete the match with a victory, winning the tiebreak with a score of 8:6.
