
Reigning World Indoor Championship silver medalist in the triple jump, Jordan Scott, set the world's best result of the 2026 season during an international tournament in Puerto Rico.
Jamaican Jordan Scott began the 2026 season in the winter part, where he held two starts. In particular, the athlete won the “silver” of the 2026 World Championships indoors with a result of 17.33 meters. In the summer part of the season, Scott started with the “gold” of the tournament in the USA, where he jumped 17.23 m.
Jordan continued his competitive year at the silver series of the Continental Tour in Puerto Rico in the triple jump. At the tournament, Scott continued his series of podiums: he won the “gold” with a jump of 17.66 meters. Moreover, this result became the best in the world in the 2026 season. Scott updated the previous record by 19 cm – surpassing the figure of 17.47 m of the Italian Andy Diaz-Hernandez.
