Ukraine wins first gd medal of 2024 ympics
Ukraine has won its first gd medal of the ympic Games in Paris by defeating South Korea in the final of the women's team saber fencing tournament.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian team of ga Kharlan, Alina Komashchuk, ena Kravatska and Yula Bakastova beat their South Korean ponents 45-42.
"They did it! ga Kharlan, Alina Komashchuk, ena Kravatska and Yula Bakastova are ympic champions in team saber fencing!" Ukraine's National ympic Committee posted on Facebook.
The 2024 ympics will last until August 11.
