
On the second competition day of the 2026 Olympic Games, the second part of the team figure skating tournament took place.
In the first half of the team tournament, each team performed one short program in four disciplines: men's and women's singles, pairs, and ice dancing. As a result, only five teams advanced to the finals, where the skaters performed free programs, after which the medalists of the Games among the teams were determined.

According to the results of the first rounds, five teams advanced to the finals of the competition: Italy, the USA, Georgia, Japan and Canada. Before the final part of the competition, the USA team was the leader, only one point ahead of Japan.
