Svitina starts with victory over Japan’s Uchijima at 2024 Games
Ukrainian Elina Svitina has reached the second round of the ympic tennis tournament in Paris (France).
In the match of the 1/32 finals of the competition, Svitina confidently defeated Japanese Moyuka Uchijima in 1 hour – 6: 2, 6: 1, Ukrinform reports.

The next rival of the Ukrainian will be the winner of the match between the 5th-seeded American Jessica Pegula and the Swiss Victoria Gubych.
The 2024 Games will last until August 11.
As reported earlier, Svitina won a bronze medal at the previous ympics in Tokyo, Japan.
