The round of 16 matches in the Men's Volleyball Champions League have concluded. Their results have determined all quarterfinalists of the tournament.
According to the Champions League regulations, five teams that won the group stage directly advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament. Among them was Perugia, led by Ukrainian volleyball player Oleh Plotnytsky. At the same time, six more clubs played three tickets to the quarterfinals in two-match playoff matches.

One of the pairs of the 1/8 finals was formed by the team of Ukrainian central blocker Yuriy Semenyuk “Project Warsaw” and the Italian champions “Tretino”. In the first game, the Italian club won on a tiebreak, but in the second match, “Project” won – also in five sets. Thus, the winner of the ticket to the quarterfinals of the Champions League was determined in the “golden” set, where the Ukrainian team turned out to be stronger.
