Paris 2024 Games: Svitina delivers comeback against Pegula
Ukraine’s Elina Svitina reached the third round of the ympic tennis tournament in Paris.
In the round of 32, Svitina sealed a strong-willed victory over fifth-seeded Jessica Pegula (USA) – 4:6, 6:1, 6:3, Ukrinform reports.
Svitina will compete for quarterfinals with the reigning Wimbledon champion, Czechia’s Barbora Krejcikova, world’s 10th strongest female tennis player.

It should be recalled that at the previous ympics in Tokyo, Svitina took bronze.
The Paris 2024 Games will last through August 11.
