Ukrainian tennis player Oleksandra Oliynykova won at the start of the WTA 250 tournament in Rouen. In the first round of the competition, the Ukrainian defeated Austrian tennis player Lilly Tagger in three sets.
Oliynikova participated in her first WTA tournament after debuting as part of the Ukrainian national team in the Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers, in which the “blue and yellow” defeated the Polish national team with an aggregate score of 4:0 and advanced to the final part of the tournament.
