Oleg Plotnytskyi made it to the symbolic volleyball Champions League team

Ukrainian volleyball player Oleh Plotnytskyi was included in the symbolic team of the Champions League. The Ukrainian was awarded a personal distinction after the end of the tournament final.

Perugia became the champion of the Volleyball Champions League. In the final, Plotnytsky's team defeated the Polish Warta for the second year in a row – this time in three sets.

Before the presentation of the Volleyball Champions League trophy, the tournament organizers honored the best volleyball players of the season. The awards went to the best coach, the tournament MVP, and the volleyball players who made it to the symbolic team.

Oleg Plotnytskyi also received the award. The Ukrainian is one of two players who were selected as a playmaker for the symbolic national team.

In addition to Plotnytskyi, the symbolic team also included former Ukrainian Yuriy Gladyr, who played for Varta. Instead, the tournament MVP was 41-year-old Perugia volleyball player Massimo Colaci, who had told Suspilne Sport the day before that the Champions League final would be the last in his career.
