“Neutral” tennis player Mirra Andreeva became the first finalist of the WTA 1000 tournament in Madrid. In the semifinals, she defeated American Haley Baptiste in straight sets.
Andreeva managed to reach the semifinals of the tournament thanks to a victory over Canadian tennis player Leila Fernandez, while Baptiste sensationally defeated world number one Aryna Sabalenka in the quarterfinals.
