Lomachenko-Lez fight scheduled for Sept 19 – Arum
T Rank chief Bob Arum has confirmed that a unification bout between lightweight titlist Vasyl Lomachenko of Ukraine and American Teofimo Lez is scheduled for September 19.
The fight is to take place in Las Vegas, but the arena is still unknown, according to ESPN.
"In talking with Lomachenko and Lez, neither of them want an interim fight. So we would plan to do that in September, with or without an audience," Arum said.
Lomachenko hds WBC, WBA, and WBO lightweight titles. Lez hds the IBF belt.
